The Raisins were a short-lived side project in 1984. Members were Butch Vig, Dave Benton, Phil Davis (First Person and Fire Town), Steve Marker (First Person, Smart Studio), and Dave Reiss and Sue Smolleroff (Sometimes Y). They did mostly 60's Garage-band cover songs. The band grew out of Butch and Steve's studio project, The Vomit Raisins. No recordings were released
